Townsend Agency Loves Wibiya Toolbar

The third installment of the featured toolbar interviews, this time by a special site that combines a fan site platform with fund-raising for cancer. We’re glad we  can be a part of helping make this site work better!

We also love the buttons and icons they’ve added onto the toolbar, reminding everybody that they can create and upload their very own icons for each button, making the toolbar unique and personal.

Read what they had to say below and if you want to participate and feature your own website and toolbar on this blog, and submit your site as a candidate for the Featured Toolbar newsletter which will come out in a couple of months, write us at feedback@wibiya.com and fill out this form:

An interview with Townsend Agency:

Please, tell us about yourself and your website.

We’re a group of fans dedicated to the original Charlie’s Angels television series. Our mission, aside from offering material previously unavailable on the internet, is to donate a portion of proceeds received towards cancer research. Our theme is geared to inspire fans to ‘Be An Angel’ and by getting involved, do their small part for the good of others.

What made you choose to add the Wibiya web toolbar?

We spotted the web toolbar on a few other sites and thought it would be ideal for our project – the toolbar simply just looks cool, and makes navigating a site much simpler and a little more entertaining.

Which applications have you found most useful in Wibiya web application bank?

We love the custom navigation buttons, which have enabled us to make quick-links to high traffic areas of our site that are a bit more difficult to locate using the standard navigation bar on our site. We also love the YouTube and Facebook integrations, as well as the handy Notification web application. Saves us the time and effort of announcing minor updates elsewhere!

How have these web applications impacted your site’s functionality?

We’ve found that fans have an easier time hitting the most popular areas of the site and getting to the information they want most.

How did you go about the design process?

Wibiya made it easy – the toolbar comes ready with a terrific graphic look, so we just customized our own buttons and created a blend of the Wibiya look using the closest color palette to our own scheme and designed specific web toolbar buttons.

Do you have any suggestions/feedback to give?

We love the product, and can’t believe it’s free!
